your phone: star hash zero six hash as ( * # 0 6 # ). A 15 - digit code
will appear on the screen, this is your IMEI number. This number is
unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe or
have your best friend record it somewhere. Should your phone be stolen,
you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They in
turn, will then be able to block your handset, so that even if the
thief changes the Sim Card, your phone will be totally useless.
Whomever stole it, can’t use or sell it either. If everybody did this,
there would be no point in stealing mobile phones anymore. Send this to
your friends with mobile phones, and let’s make the thieves lives more
frustrating.
